Colin holds an MSc in Health Economics from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Pharmacy. Colin has spent the last decade designing and implementing health economic studies, executing on price optimization plans and delivering results through successful reimbursement strategies. Colin brings a unique approach to PIVINA via his experience and progression in the pharmaceutical industry. His innovative approaches and take charge attitude will allow him to continue to deliver high quality results for PIVINA's clients.

Jim holds an Honours B. Comm. and MBA degrees from the University of Windsor. He has almost 40 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with global pharmaceutical companies and as a consultant with PIVINA since 2012. Jim's pharmaceutical experience spans all aspects of price management strategy, as well as providing back-office support to government affairs activities, product management, and new product launches. In addition, since 1993, he has been involved in PMPRB-related activities, including semi-annual reporting, preparation of new drug patentee submissions, and 2 major overhauls of the rules and guidelines under which PMPRB operates (2010, 2021). Jim brings to PIVINA and its clients a wealth of experience in such areas as: development of annual price optimization strategy; introductory pricing strategy for new medicines; preparation of Patentee Submissions to PMPRB for new patented medicines; completion of mandatory PMPRB reporting forms; monitoring patented medicines price compliance with PMPRB's Excessive Price Guidelines, and, where necessary, assisting clients with development of an appropriate strategy to minimize the financial impact of non-compliant pricing situations.

Marc holds a Bachelor in Medical Sciences (BMSc) degree with an honours specialization in microbiology and immunology from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Biotechnology (MBiotech) degree from the University of Toronto. Throughout his graduate studies, Marc received broad exposure to the Canadian pharmaceutical landscape, as well as hands-on drug reimbursement experience during a one-year internship placement at AstraZeneca Canada Inc. Marc joined PIVINA in January 2012, and is currently contributing to the delivery of reimbursement strategies and submissions for clients.

Andrea graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science and from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry. Andrea has spent the last 9 years in the area of Health Economics, Outcomes Research, and Market Access. Before joining PIVINA, Andrea worked on the design and implementation of health economic and market access tools, including interactive models (budget impact, cost-effectiveness) and retrospective database analyses that used pharmacy and medical claims data to provide patient outcomes to help support formulary management. Andrea brings strong project management, client management, and market access experience to PIVINA. At PIVINA, Andrea provided her expertise in the development and launch of FormularyKits.ca - an interactive payer portal that serves as a communication link between Reviewers and Manufacturers when evaluating submissions for funding recommendations. FormularyKits.ca currently hosts over 40 formulary submissions and supports Canadian private payers, including key Pharmacy Benefit Managers, and Hospital P&T Committees. Additionally, Andrea currently works on various market access submissions to payers, including the Common Drug Review, INESSS, public and private payers.

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Biotechnology from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Biotechnology (MBiotech) from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining PIVINA, Nicholas held roles in quality, validation, and operations teams at multiple pharmaceutical companies (including Patheon and Apotex) where he gained valuable industry experience. During his time at PIVINA, he supported and led many market access strategies and HTA submissions (CADTH, INESSS, private) for products across a wide range of therapeutic areas. Nicholas brings strong analytical and project management skills to the PIVINA team. He hopes to utilize his skillset and experiences to deliver optimal results for clients and ultimately provide patients access to the life-changing medications they need.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (specializing in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization) from McMaster University and a Master of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto. Aaron has a diverse background in academic research, ranging from drug discovery to epidemiology. He has also collaborated with local life science start-ups on commercial projects. Since joining PIVINA in 2020, Aaron has leveraged his experience in industry and academia to support clients in the development of reimbursement strategies and HTA submissions for products across a wide range of therapeutic areas.

David holds a Master's degree in Health Economics from Umea University. Before joining PIVINA, David worked at CADTH and at the BC Cancer Agency as a health economist. He brings strong modelling skills, programming capabilities, and knowledge of CADTH guidelines to PIVINA.

Shivani holds an Honours Bachelor of Sciences and a Doctor of Philosophy in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, both obtained from the University of Toronto. Before joining PIVINA, Shivani worked on a variety of translational research projects, developing multiple prognostic models to predict cancer patient outcome after surgery. At PIVINA, she brings her background in biostatistics and extensive analytical experience to support drug reimbursement submissions for clients.

Iulia holds a Bachelor of Medical Science specializing in Microbiology and Immunology from Western University and a Master of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto. She is also a recipient of the 2021 CAHR Board of Directors Scholarship for aspiring market access professionals. Before joining PIVINA, Iulia completed an internship at Sanofi Genzyme as a Market Access Associate where she supported HTA submissions, assisted with reimbursement strategy, and analyzed reimbursement trends. As a member of the PIVINA team, Iulia hopes to leverage her industry and academic experience to support clients in their goal of improving patient access to innovative medicines.

Nikolaus holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMSc), Honours Specialization of Biochemistry of Infection and Immunity from Western University and a Master of Biotechnology (MBiotech) from the University of Toronto. During his studies he gained experience in primary research, product commercialization, and pharmaceutical strategy. Nikolaus joined PIVINA in 2022 and since then has been using his background in medical science and technical experience to support clients through the reimbursement process.

Sriprada holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from McMaster University, where she worked on several research projects focused on data analysis in the field of metabolomics. She joined PIVINA as part of the Master of Biotechnology (MBiotech) program at the University of Toronto, where she is specializing in Biopharmaceuticals. As a member of the PIVINA team, Sriprada aims to leverage her analytical and project management skills to support clients with HTA submissions.
